Nah, it's boring as fuck. It's just an option that doesn't need two players to play. IMO, the O/P should keep the pool table.

I have a dart board already. I'm also not looking for a game to play by myself. What would be the point of that?

I'll probably keep the pool table no matter what. And really, I'm not going to spend $1000 on any kind of game at this point, so unless an insane deal pops up, this while idea will just fade away.

I went to buy the one posted above, but it was a lot smaller and more "rinky dink" than I expected. Came home empty handed. Looks like I'll probably have to spend a grand or more for a nice one.

What are the dimensions? Also how big are the goals? If you put your blocker directly center of it can you still score?

I don't have a tape measure handy but it is damn close to 7'x4'

If you put your blocker dead center, there is plenty of room on either side to score.

The cord would need to be replaced i just saw, apparently a dog or cat used it as a chew toy. Still functions fine, just some chew marks on it. Standard electrical cord, nothing special.

The one I looked at yesterday, the slots were not wide enough, so that if you kept your pusher in the center, you'd never be scored on. Also, when you banked the puck off the side, instead of it bouncing back the opposite direction at a similar angle that it hit, it just kind of flattened out and slid down the side. It didn't have much bounce to it, which I imagine was actually from the sides not being solid enough.
