iPhone dumped all of my contacts

I was using google maps yesterday when randomly the screen flashes black, and starts loading some other app. I hit the home button and go back to google maps.

A little while later, I hit the phone button and all of my mother fucking contacts are gone. I have phone numbers in my favorites, but no names on the favorites. I have a ton of text messages that I went through and updated my contact list with, but I've lost EVERY other contact I had.

When I got home I synced it with iTunes, restored it, and nothing. I could've SWORE I had all that shit backed up, but apparently I didn't. I'm fucking dumbfounded and pissed off.

Any ideas ??

It was just like a weird little glitch that only took a couple seconds and boom, everything gone.

Anyone who's phone number I had, could you please text it to me, or pm me ?

i keep all of my contacts on outlook and it updates my phone via exchange...you may be able to do that through yahoo/google as well. that way you always have your contacts elsewhere as well as on your phone. you can also sync your contacts, so they're saved on your back-ups...that sucks that you lost them, though. i'd hate to have to enter all of those things in again!
