Heaven smells like... Part deux
I'm standing on the deck at 8200ft in the Vail, CO area and enjoying a smoke watching the lights of Vail twinkling in the valley below. It's 38*, and I am fucking loving every minute of it.
This is my first time in Vail and I have to say that it is every bit as amazing as I had been told. The drive up was a little rough(we drove up from Houston straight through Tuesday night), but it was well worth it. I'm staying with some friends in their new place up here, and the place is unreal. To call it palatial would be an understatement.
Luckily we are leaving the car we came in up here at the house and flying back, so we won't have to drive all night again. As an added bonus, we are flying private on the way home, so I can pretend to be a high roller for a few hours.
I'm starting a new job on Monday in Houston, and I can't think of a better way to kick back and relax a little before hand.
