I recently sold my father in law's 1969 Mustang Mach 1. It was a factory shaker car, automatic, 351, etc. It did not have every option available that year but it was nice and in great original shape.
The guy won it on ebay for $25,050. When we talked on the phone he told me he plans to work on it with his son for his first car in a year or two. I told him it does not really need anything unless you plan to upgrade the brakes (which are factory drum now).
Who spends that much and gives their kid an all original 69 Mach 1 for a first car? Did you have a car like this? My first car was a 1965 Mustang w/289. My father and I restored it for 3 yrs prior to me turning 16. It was just a coupe and not anything special so it was not worth a lot (relatively speaking).
