So my kids are taking their nightly baths and my 5 y/o son yells "DAD!!! THE WATER IN THE TOILET IS GETTING BIGGER!!!"
OH FUCK! What did he do now???
Nothing, the water is just starting to backup in the toilet. I immediately issue a cease and desist order on ALL water activities in the house. Then I check out the other bath rooms/showers. Fuck, shit water has already backed up into the master shower and garden tub...... So, I check the main sewer cut out in front of the house, barely a trickle of water. DAMN! I call around and find a neighbor w/ a 45' hand snake. We start at the drain closest to the sewer line out the front and get about 30' down the drain with some MAJOR struggling. No dice, still barely a trickle. I've made a quick inventory of the house looking for new/larger cracks in the ceiling and/or foundation. (Our house, built circa 1999, has settled a bit, but not a lot and we water our foundation, even now.) So, I'm HOPING it's just a major clog. Tomorrow I plan on renting a power snake from Rental Stop and trying my luck with that route. However, if that fails.....
Does ANYONE know a good/reputable Plumber in the Mansfield area?
Board member would obviously be preferred and someone I can work with on the price maybe? I weld, write software, turn wrenches, and can/will do a lot of the plumbing work, ie. dig, get dirty, etc.
