Has anyone bothered to question the fact that the teacher has a photo hung on the wall that many would consider offensive? I hope the teacher gets seriously disciplined over this.

In this case, since the teacher took it on himself to push his gay, anti-Christian agenda and then punished a child for disagreeing with said agenda - I mean that's what this is really about: The kid pissed off the teacher, and the teacher tried to punish him for it.

The mom was on the Mark Davis show this morning, and said that the same teacher had posted a poster in his room with two men kissing. This is a fucking German class? When the students asked the teacher about the poster, he said it was involving a "current event", and they should grow accustom to these images.

On a totally different view, isn't public displays of affection banned in schools? How does the teacher get a pass by displaying a poster that shows such an act?

Hells yeah the school was wrong. Also wtf is up with suspension? That is the most stupid fucking punishment i have ever heard of. Basically you are denying that person education for the day and putting them behind in their lessons.. fucking stupid, make them run laps around the building for an hour with no stopping breaks after school or something like that. Not fucking sticking them in a room with a few other students all fucking day and making them figure out the lessons by them selves..

If I were his parents, I would find some sleazebag lawyer who would file a charge (would have to be pro bono, of course) against the teacher, school and school district arguing separation of church and state since it was a religious discussion in a public school. Of course, I don't believe in such a thing as separation of church and state, but just to do it, I would.
