People molesting kids and shit are going to molest kids with, or without drugs. No person who would not normally do something like that, would go and do it because he smoked a joint. That's ridiculous.

And again, people don't steal/prostitute/murder to get their next weed fix. Meth, heroin, crack, coke, etc; sure. But not weed.
Brent please, don't use logic here. It will never work with Matt, you see he's been drinking the kool-aid for far too long.

People do stupid shit while high.

I never limited committing a crime to weed use. How about the home invasion I saw off of Mansfield Hwy where a guy was shot and killed because he was selling weed and infringing on someone else's turf? Drug related crimes encompass a broad spectrum of problems.
But don't you think, just a little, that your personal experience is a little skewed being you are dealing with the underbelly of society on a daily basis?
You never talk to that lawyer on your street that tokes up everynight, or you just don't know.

      • So, Matt, Forrest, and Brent, do you want people in charge of your kids high on a legal drug while in their care???

          Let me think about that......................................
A legal prescription that will ultimately cause liver/kidney failure, and is HIGHLY addictive vs an illegal (depending on what state you're in), homeopathic, natural resource, that I'm sure is much cheaper as well.

Yet you admittedly have no personal experience. That must be one fucked up world you live in.

              No, I don't.

I also don't want them drunk, or on any mind altering prescription medications either. What does that have to do with legalization?

Because it's legal, then there won't be rules around it?

Weak. Very weak. In case you missed it when Matt said it, if weed were legal, employers would have policies against it just like they do with alcohol consumption while at work.

It's ok if they are walking zombies on Prozac, because Prozac is legal! Keep up, Matt!

                      • But at the same time, I don't mind my tattoo artist stoned, I don't mind my CPA stoned when he's doing my taxes. That nigga is on point when he's in the zone. I don't mind my yard guy mowing my yard stoned. So I guess just like with any other "legal" substances, such as prescriptions, alcohol, etc. It depends on the job they are doing and how it effects their work.

I don't mind hanging out with my friends when they are stoned. Some of my friends however, I do mind hanging out with when they are drunk.

Just becuase I haven't smoked weed doens't mean I can't be knowlegeable about it.

I've never been shot, but I can damn well say I don't want to be.

But you can't be knowlegeable about how it feels when you are shot, or what it does to your body from a personal experience. You can only regurgitate what you've read or heard about the experience. Or maybe what you've seen when someone else was shot and you experienced what they went through. But people handle pain differently, so not everyone getting shot acts the same, or feels the same pain.

                                See what we're getting at?
