I told my higher ups that I was done with Iraq and that I was going to be home by New Years. Apparently, the Sr. VP I report to thinks otherwise. Hell if I know... I guess I should be happy I'm wanted so bad, but even a little extra compensation doesn't sound as good as going home unemployed into a job market like the one we have now.

I've been known for making some STUPID decisionsbefore, so why break consistancy?

I'm still guessing pretty soon.

All I can do is face palm and laugh. I have this same discussion with my wife every R&R. I hope you do plan on doing more time overseas so that way when you meet my wife at the gun party you can tell her how me coming home right now is a shitty idea.
