Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. While she may no longer be with us physically she'll always be in our hearts. I will keep my head up, she'd kick my butt if I didn't! She and my Dad really taught my brother and I to think of others before yourself, work hard, and take care of your family no matter the sacrifice. She was an extremely hard worker, she was the sole provider after my dad almost died from a heat stroke back in 96. I am really thankfull she got to see my brother come back from Afghanistan on the 2, and that I got to the hospital before the meds put her to sleep so I could talk to her and he could talk to her by phone before she passed.

As time passes, your good memories will FAR outweigh the bad... It's impossible to see that now, but I promise you it's true. She will always be alive in your hearts and memories. Allow yourselves to grieve, but don't allow grief to overtake you in the future. That's not what she would want.
Remember the good, and don't allow yourself to become bitter about how she left. There is no more pain for her, and I hope there is no more for you
