  • Moral/ethical question (dealer techs step in)

I have a question for the dealer techs on here, say you are friends with one of the service advisors on facebook, said service advisor posts up some stupid video of a joyride in a Ford GT. The customer has given permission to drive it, but I doubt 60 in a 30, would you tell the service manager or just keep it to yourself?

Post the video so we can see it and determine if it was a real joyride.

This is exactly why I declined to let one of the techs take my car home to diagnose an unknown clutch issue..

as long as they don't spill a cherry-limeade in the seat on a sonic happy hour run. no big deal.

Let it be. If asked tell the truth but if he didn't tear up any thing I would just let it go

Haha! As a former service advisor I can say that we had a ton of those.

As far as the original problem. Would you care if they were doing 60 in a 30 in an F-150?
