10 year - still college party atmosphere, not worth it
20 year - significantly more laid back, calmer. Usually attendable - meet contacts, people are more established family and career wise and have more in common.
I skipped my 20 year because of the 10 year. Nothing like the "jocks" rolling in some kegs like it was an old high school bash in the sticks. Wow? Really? You want to do that?
I also figured I already kept up with the people from high school that I want to.

didn't like the people then, have no desire to see them now... all my friends from highschool I'm still friends with
I agree
I would go beat the fuck out of all of them within an inch of their life, then fuck their chihuahua while they watch as they get loaded into the ambulance
Well I don't think we are going. probably going to the drivein movies.
I didn't like anyone back then either, just curious to see what happened to some people. I actually didn't have one conversation with anyone the day I left our graduation ceremony.

I've been to a few of mine over the years (Class of 1973) and generally
have had a good time.... many of the comments already psoted are
dead-on correct.
Pretty girls porked up, homely girls have blossumed and drunks then are still drunks now.... and some folks have remained the same...
My first thought when I walk in the room is always: "Gee, I must be in the wrong place... who are all these old f*ckers"
Number 40 coming up in 2013 and I'll again be attending.
