  • Last Crown Vic

Rolled off the line today at the Canuck factory.

The last Ford Crown Victoria rolled off a Canadian assembly line marking the end of Ford's so-called Panther Platform vehicles, big heavy cars that have been popular with taxi fleets and police departments for decades.

It was totalled... god damnit, I told him I wanted to buy it. Yeah the LX Sports were rare cars.. only a few hundred were ever made. His particular car was 1 of 6 - triple black no chrome, completely loaded, center shifter, sunroof, leather, 3.55 gears, and some really cool rare wheels I've never seen. LOL tried to post a picture of one but couldn't find any.

wouldnt mind if it was equipped with a fire supression system.....actually remember those recalls where we were installing these little bullshit plastic shock tower protectors & a rubber insulator on the axle housing, but really...if ANY vehicle is sitting on the side of the road and is rearended going 70plus, it really doesnt matter nothing is left regardless...

What about Cadillac or the Chrysler LX platform cars?

Only a police vehicle for now...but I kinda liked the one I saw even though it had a bare console, vinyl, and was an unmarked essentially.

That sucks, there good cars. I bought a 03 ex cop car. That thing is impressive handles very well and is quick for that big of a car. Gas milage is not that bad either. I plan on lowering it and putting some staggered bullets on it.

That was the media causing an issue that never existed.
