  • Wood disposal?

Anyone know where I can get rid of a bunch of large wood reels?
The dump charges to dump them, figured maybe there was a place that recycled wood or something. Been wearing Google out this morning but no luck so far.

Probably not a great idea since pretty much everywhere has a burn ban.

Don't know where you live, but the dump up in Melissa has free dump day on 1st Saturday every month.

Offer them for free to anyone on Craigslist.

Like the kind people use for tables outside? I agree with the Craigslist suggestion.

That's what I did. Worked out to be a perfect table while I'm grilling.

I've gotten rid of them on craigslist and a local car forum. In fact if anyone in the Midland-Odessa area ever wants some I've always got them from medium to large and every now and then I'll have a really big one if we do a job with huge wire. All free for the taking.

They do make excellent tables for patios an garages.

Might want to check out the rainbow room. They are excellent at disposing of wood.

I had a piece of birch laying there so I cut out a bigger top and put it on there. Works perfect.

Good idea. I have seen people paint them up nice then cover the top with epoxy or glass.
