I'm upping my schedule to 3 classes.

        General Biology
American History to 1853 (or some shit like that)
        And an Education class

Should be a cool semester. New major = New Outlook

I am modifying too. I think I will throw in Chemisty2 also with circuit analysis, diff Eq and linear algebra. Just need the ok from the wife. This with gives me the option of going down the physics major road or the electrical engineering. There is just too much cool stuff to learn.

Differential equations was cake. I'm not sure why so many people complain about it. And really, if you know that material very well you can derive most equations in later technical classes; then you don't have to memorize a ton of dumbed-down algebraic equations, just a few fundamental equations.

From what I've heard it is more difficult to get a job with a physics major... unless you plan on getting a masters or phd.

The director of engineering at my work mentors me. I asked what he thought of me getting a BS in physics with an engineering option instead of BSEE. He said he didn't know what to do with an engineering physicist.

I took solid state physics as an elective at UTA. Was a very cool course and might give you a taste of the physics that interests you, while still focusing on the engineering degree.
