Wife and I went to Classic BMW just to test drive a few 335's (and a 535i) today so she can get a feel of the car she's been wanting.
Upon completion, we get the "sit down" with the sales guy that wants to talk BMW values (and warranty), costs assoc, trade in, etc.
I was scared the wife was going to want to make a deal then and there, but fortunately she said "let me sleep on it" and we went to dinner. At dinner I was hit with the following comment:
"My Jeep has 55k miles on it and I've had it for 4.5 years. It's paid for and I don't want to jump into another car payment just to get a nicer vehicle right now. Get me some new comfy seat covers and a new stereo system and I'm happy with what I have."
SCORE!
