I've been doing this ever since I got married 16 years ago. I don't do it everyday but I hand write something for Miyako and stick it somewhere she doesn't expect to see it. Sometimes on the bathroom mirror, sometimes on the steering wheel of her car. I like to keep her surprised..

I just don't do little poems, and love notes.
She always knows where I stand and how much she means to me, but it comes directly from my actions and words, I don't need to get all girly and shit

It will give them a nice surprise when they look in the mirror.

Sure that may seem like comparing apples to oranges, but all relationships can suffer and become stagnant after a while. If it's important to you, taking a few minutes to do something unexpected goes a long way..
