I would definitely check with the attorney you sent it to. I have been to court on a 7 year old ticket before. I know some that have been to 10 year old ticket trials.

Spoke to my attorney, apparently as stated above, they did file a complaint within the 2 year allotment, so they have unlimited time to pursue the citation. The officer is still on the force apparently. So, now my only option is to have my attorney plea out on the fact it's been 6 years and see what happens. This is crazy. I literally do not remember this ticket whatsoever.
