      LOL

It is not against school policy to practice a different religion (or none at all). Most people here aren't really Bible thumpers, but we certainly do have some. I met a kid one time who told me that in the Bible when it mentions wine they really mean grape juice, and that Jesus never drank alcohol. I asked how they would have preserved it in its juice form without it turning, and he said "they had ways."

      Fucking idiots man.

              Why do Christians own December?
Who the hell said that we did? While we disagree with other religions beliefs, etc., we acknowledge their presence. Further, it is some historian's findings that December 25 was established to celebrate Jesus' birth while others believe that December 25 was chosen because it was the date of the solstice. As Christians, we should be allowed to believe that December 25 is because of our religion. By believing that, we aren't condemning anyone else's desire to celebrate it otherwise.

First, it's called "faith" and EVERYONE has it. For example, you have faith that when you turn the key in your car that it will start. Second, there are books like the Bible, Koran, etc. that lay out the teachings/beliefs of the religion. To say that no one knows anything about their particular religion is absurd.

Ridiculous. Most religions also focus strongly on how you are to live while here on earth.

Are you saying that believing in a Higher Power limits one's ability to see the world the way it is? I'm not following you.

I think I've commented on this before, but your posts on this subject are the longest, most drawn-out, explanatory, vindicating posts that you make. Why... I'd swear they're downright evangelist.

On the topic of Religion in general? Hmm, never thought about that I guess.

It most likely stems from the frustration I feel on a daily basis regarding the subject. At least once a week someone grabs me and tells me that I need to accept Jesus and that he is the only way to salvation etc.

I'm not going to go telling you all that (since you've already heard it and it sounds like a broken record). But I do want you to know that He does love you no matter what.

Sending someone to hell seems like an eccentric expression of "love."

No He loves us enough for us to make our own decisions. We have the power to send ourselves to hell.

No, on the subject of Christianity, which you make it every time. Like this:

You make it sound like the streets are full of Chistian zombies trying to rip your atheist throat out... I'm just not seeing it. I'd happily converse with someone about Christianity, but I find that most Christians are quiet about their religion in public (like me). They don't want some atheist zealot to start screaming back at them about "pushing beliefs."

Let's get together when you get back man. It will be fun to go around pushing Jesus on people!

Once you let go of that you realize your life is much more than that and you should live it and not go through it feeling like a sinner.

Guess it doesn't matter. With a response of me being ignorant and an attention whore, I'll consider his future posts as null and void.
