I saw him Friday at the Rail Club in Fort Worth. Not a fan of the venue but Tricephus killed it. There was more pot being smoked out in the open there (indoors) than at Kennedale on a Friday night.

I'm heading down there - don't have tickets, but figure I can scalp or figure another way in... Worst case scenario, I don't get into the concert and have to settle for getting bombed on 6th all weekend.

      Anybody need a ride down?

Fuck no. They really went above and beyond in assembling a bad lineup this year; it's like they're starting to put effort into doing so. Social Distortion? Kanye West? lolz

Yeah, it's pretty bad. We always buy tickets on presale, and it's before the lineup comes out by a couple of months. I was severely disappointed this year.

Seems like she was just 15, 21 days ago.

Ditch the Fest Fest 2 is this weekend and proceeds benefit the wildfire victims. Matt, the Red7 shows are all ages, and my buddy's band is playing. I have half a mind to see if I can drag Robert down there this weekend. http://lucythepoodle.com/ditchthefestfest/

In other news, the lineup for NOLA Jazz Fest is off the motherfucking chain this year, as usual. Dr. John, Sonny fucking Rollins, Wilco, Robert Cray, Robert Randolph, Allen Touissant, The Strokes, Gregg Allman, Galactic, The Roots w/ John Legend, Willie Nelson, Jeff Beck, Robert Plant, plus a smattering of the country's best jazz ensembles. The only blemishes on the lineup are Bon Jovi and Kenny G.

Holy fucking shit. I'm in for both weekends. Yale?

Jazz Fest sounds like a winner. I might have to mozy down there.

Kermit Ruffins is playing the FW Music Fest, nowhere near that lineup but it's a lot closer!
