im not sure, i would ideally like them "dumped" at somewhat of a 45degree angle past the rearend and close to the bumper as possible.

          god bless.

I have serious doubts you were cooler than Ice Cube back in 1994.

I forget the exact wording, but the end of the exhaust is supposed to exit the rear of the vehicle. It's supposed to prevent exhaust fumes from entering the passenger compartment.

I thought dumps were cool until I took a road trip with them. Once I got up to speed the drone of the exhaust became annoying as hell.

yeah, i can see the safety aspect, car is rarel driven, 59k miles on a 94, so the drone really isnt a concern.

                god bless.

i always thought it was weird because some factory vehicles come with side exhaust which clearly does not exit behind the rear axle.

From the five seconds of research I did I found Nick has retired and everyone is being referred to:

It doesn't exit under the passenger compartment though. It's not about the axle, it's about the passenger compartment.

Exactly. They must exit outside the passenger compartment... and the trunk counts as part of the passenger compartment.

They're not illegal on a truck if they exit under the bed, but after the cab.

You should be fine because the trunk of that thing is filled with all those speakers you got at Trader's Village. It is no longer the passenger compartment.
