  • Cant find the truck im looking for, suggest something.

I need a truck or SUV with a manual transmission, 20+mpg, 4 full size seats, and can tow a car trailer(4klbs~)

looking used, only have 3-4k to spend.

I cant seem to find anything worth looking at.

Doesn't exist. A small truck will have jump seats, a big truck won't get 20+MPG and SUV's rarely come with manuals. Your best bet would probably be a Dakota Quad Cab, but you won't find one for that price.

Worse gas mileage, more expensive to fix (generally), primarily made for woman, better for towing.

You can't find it, because nothing exists that fits your criteria. You can get a Tacoma or Colorodo, but you'll have to spend way more.

Nothing older in that price range has 4 real doors or gets 20 MPG.

First gen pathfinders meet that criteria. Not sure about the tow rating, but I do know the springs in the rear are soft. I get 18mpg on 33" tires.

Would be close, stock 98 is 3500lbs capacity and it's got a bigger V6 than the 1st gen.

What about the late 90's Ford Explorer sport? They were avaliable with manual transmissions.

If you can raise your price range just a little you might look into the 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner. They came in 5 speed manual and have a towing capacity of 5k lbs. The problem will be finding one around here though.
