My door was kicked in on 12/27/10. I lost only my firearms. Since then I've had a safe bolted in, security system and cameras put in. Take down the serial numbers to EVERYTHING, and send them to a gmail or something. All my electronics have my drivers license number engraved in them.Karussell White - 2010 Genesis Coupe R-Spec 6MT 2.0T -

During the day, no. Both my wife and I work. I work forever away, she is 15 min away. We have retired people in the neighborhood that keeps an eye on stuff (he called the GPD on me tonight actually - because I was parked in front of his window for 45 min watching my house)

Originally posted by SSMAN View PostIn a small safe that can be hauled out the door. LOL. Seriously, move the guns. I have a Remington safe and it is pushing 750 lbs plus. With that kind of coin invested in guns, you need a better safe. Or at least bolt it to the floor.
Once I get my alarm system put in, It will be better. When they kicked the door in on my neighbors house, it had a 30 second delay and then the alarm went off...they only managed to grab a laptop sitting on a counter before running away scared. Cops were there within 5 min (the neighbor himself was part of them)
