Why do I own a firearm? Because I have a constitutional right to do so. Who are you to take my right from me? I carry daily and haven't shot anyone in 7 years. I can assure you, this second grader is FAR more qualified with a stick of dynamite than you are.
You even admit that my reading is correct. You would be quite justified in shooting me were I doing that. And we have his account, not the other individuals. I see a lot of personal attack at me for my state of mind yet nothing saying my interpretation is wrong. Tell me, what do you have against me? Do you hate the mentally disabled or just me?ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh

Omfg! Someone rode within a foot of my yard!!! I better not confront them rationally I should blow them to smithereens!! They violated my rights and it's my right to protect my property! Who knows whathat mans intentions were!!
None of you would do a god damn thing.. Some of you people need to visit something called reality.. Warren Buffett couldn't fund the amount of ammo needed to shoot every person who uninvited stepped on my yard..

What I sent to Forever_Frost in PM as requested to post.
Almost posted in thread, figured a PM was more appropriate.

Seems as if I've noticed a couple posts in other threads where you've felt the law would legitimately be on your side if you used deadly force for relatively minor threats if there was even a threat at all. I don't think I have to say that the law doesn't exist to enable you to use deadly force. It only exists to protect you if you were threatened and the only way out of it as a last resort was to protect your life, family, or property with deadly force. I don't think the law is going to cover you the way you think it will.
It does seem as if you're looking for ways to stretch the law in order to use deadly force. Seems like you've researched it and you talk about it. You're saying you're mentally disabled over what I'm guessing is combat related, no?
I know I'm just some guy on a message board you've never met, but maybe you should talk to a professional. A good one, not just the jerkoffs the VA provides. Just for your own good. What if you took someone's life over what you perceived as a threat, but the law/judge/jury did not, and not only was that person's life over, but then you go to prison too. What if the person you shot was a child? That person's life is over, you lose your freedom, and your family loses you.
Again, I'm not trying to be jerk about this. I'm saying you should see someone for your own good. It would be real shitty for you have to served this country, survived war, only to ruin your life over mistaken aggression here at home. You know what I'm saying?
Best of luck, thanks for your service!
Originally posted by Forever_frostThere is some stage show put on when someone's being an obvious idiot but I'm pretty in control of things. I carry daily and am well trained on the things I have. I do not make rash judgements or injure anyone who does not pose a threat. While it may seem different, I was merely taking the opposing viewpoint of the individual who had been trespassed against and the thought process that goes into chasing down an intruder. Were the individual truly a 'meth head' as was posted, there is good chance said individual may have had drugs on property that he did not wish discovered.
I am in control of myself and my surroundings. Well, as much as anyone. Would I shoot someone? Yes. Would I do it over something as simple as a mere trespass? No. Do I see the point of doing it? Yes completely.
I do not see you as being a jerk and appreciate the message. I do not have mistaken aggression and know the deep scar on your soul when you take a life. I see them nightly when I sleep and in my flashbacks. If I have to pull the trigger again, I can assure you, it will be a decision not made lightly or without thought of the consequences. I've had reason to shoot (I had a drunk driver run me off the road and then come back at me) and not done so. As I said, unlike most, I know the consequences, I have a criminal law background, working on a masters in psychology and will make that decision well thought out, but rapidly.US Politics in three words - Divide and Conquer

Ask me how I know. MwahahahhOriginally posted by kingjason View PostLOL I wasnt sweaty. I guess this is common practice for dealing with these nuts.
I had just finished running on the tread mill, sweating my ass off, got naked to get into the shower, but decided I needed a glass of ice water first.
Top half of the front door is glass, passed it on the way into the kitchen with no concern, didn't notice anyone, it's 10am on a weekday, wasn't expecting anyone. On the way back there are two kids there with one in the motion about to knock as our eyes meet, he looks down at my junk, causes me to laugh and kinda shrug like "what I'm I gonna do now", he sort of grabs the other kid who is looking down at something in his hand. They turn around and hustle off. Haven't seen them or had any pamphlets stuck on the door since.US Politics in three words - Divide and Conquer
