While I love the place the only thing thats worth getting is the sausage jalapeno and cheese kolache. And not that BS breakfast sausage either.

The rest of the stuff is just alright.
      Qft, that's all i get.

I will have to give this place a try. I always drive in town and take a left on main street and go to a little bakery/restaurant for the kolaches. I've been going to that same place since I was young.

I got some koolaches on the way down south texas yesterday. Awesome shit. I just wished they were a bit cheaper. Will get some on the way back.

Lone Star kolaches wasn't bad, but it's not czech stop.

Tried a cream cheese, poppy seed, and jalapeno/cheese sausage. They use the little smokie type sausages, not big link style

My great aunt and uncle live about a mile and a half from the Czech Stop, our family farm wasn't too much farther on the other side of 35. Too bad they got rid of it while I was young. Most of my family is buried there.

Great kolache's, the klobasniky are my favorites.

Geez, heard so many good things about this place so heading down 35 yesterday decided to stop in and see what the rave was all about.

Are you guys drunk when you go there? That place looks like a dump and did not have an appealing smell at all. We were not the only ones who walked in, and turned around and walked out.

Maybe 5 years ago when this thread was last updated, it was better?

Haha, I thought the same thing. We happened to stop there during a school field trip to Austin. I thought, what the hell, everyone raved about it so I got a dozen kolaches for the road...threw 11 1/2 away. He'll, any Asian run donut store puts out better kolaches (however you spell it)

Yeah, they should change the name to The Up-Chuck Stop, because you may do that after you eat there.

And prostock1, chk the date of Tally's post, it was probably 2011, this is an OLD thread I revived! 2 brought up Czech stop, so I grabbed the top one.
