It must be an acquired taste because somebody bought in a mix of kolaches and I tried a poppyseed one but couldn't finish it.

When I had customers in Waco, It was like they were insulted I drove down from DFW and didnt bring them Kolaches. Im not a huge fan of them, but I dont dislike them.

Hit Slovacek's on the way down, Czech Stop or Buc'ees on the way up. Slovacek's has better sausage, some great burritos and is definitely cleaner and not as crowded inside and their kolaches are pretty good. Czech Stop is pretty good in my opinion, they are way better fresh. They even have a cheeseburger one now and it's awesome.
