Thinking its time to refi. Lowest rate in decades

I have 5.5% and missed out the last time it dropped.

"The average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage fell to 4.12%, from 4.22%, Freddie Mac said Thursday. That's the lowest level on records dating back to 1971."

Those averages are always a few weeks behind, but rates are still near the all time lows so if you're at 5.500% on a 30 year you should look into refinancing.

I hate seeing these lower rates. I've been locked in at 6% but my credit is wrecked now so I couldn't qualify for the lower rates being offered now.
