How much did they charge you if you don't mind me asking, and who did you use? As far as the idle goes man, I don't really know what to say. I was actually supposed to start today, but there are some paperwork issues that came up so they sent me home within the first hour of me being there.

Worked with a guy named Chris, tho the only thing he did was write my info down on the work order and call me when it was done.

I think it was just at 300.

Ask around if you can.. because i know this is a common issue. Also my VCT noise seems to have gotten worse. ugh.

Kyle, what's the problem with your idle? Is it throwing a code? Have you checked the massive vac line coming off the back of the intake? My Expy was having misfires, and COPS didn't fix it, it turned out to be the vac line. If you want to swing by, I'd be glad to point it out.

I've read the 5.4 3v is inherently hard on idle.. but it's worse now than it was. I haven't checked any lines, as i figured the stealership would do it when i told them i had idle issues. No codes or anything like that.

I'm free in about an hour and a half, you workin from home? I'm at the Briery shop for the city...i know it's not too far from your house.
