deep freezer

i have a frigidaire deep freeze with the lines that run through the shelfs. how long can you keep meat like pork, chicken, and beef in it

Freezing is pretty much indefinately, but When its frozen for too long the quality suffers.

If youve had it freeze,thaw,refreeze, then it probably should be discarded. If it smells rancid after tawing, should be tossed.

For me, i only keep meat frozen for 2 years at the most, after that it just doesnt taste that great. On average i hink the avg age of my freezer is about 6 months.
