Yep, it's a side effect.... talk to your doc about the drop in your sex drive and they can work with you to get the right dose or Rx changed to something that doesn't fuck you up.... or they can offset it by giving you something that will increase the drive back up to normal.
Other than the sex drive, how are the meds working?Originally posted by VertnutI'd run my junk through a waffle iron, if it makes you more "comfortable". LOL!

Yeah, It happens. I was on them for a bit, a supposed mild dose, and it pretty much made me "middle of the road" all the time. I wasnt sad, I wasnt happy, nothing was fun, nothing was boring. It sucked so bad, plus I didnt want to do anything.
I told the doc they had the opposite effect on me, cause that shit was depressing."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

I chalk it up to real life, after awhile you get tired of the same stuff.
A lot of people think there is a magic happy pill and I'm sure it's helped a lot of people, but there are waay more side effects with them then it's worth, at least from what I have read.

yeah, there was actually a pretty good movie that came out a few years back about dependence on AD drugs, had natalie portman in it. In my teen angst years i had a couple bouts with depression and went through the whole woe is me, wah wah stage but skydiving really cleared all that shit the fuck out. Once you almost die, life becomes a little bit better. Not only that, but think about the big picture. you're wasting your life being sad and pitiful, and then you're gonna DIE. skydiving really made me readjust my view on life, after i almost killed myself more then a few times. I want to meet death knowing that A. i fucking had a good time in life, and B. I did everything that i wanted to (within my means) and finally C. to have no regrets, and realize that I wouldnt change a fucking thing, even with all the fuckups and carnage i left along the way on this twisted road of mine. But I do know that having somebody else tell you these things wont do anything for you. thats a realization that has to come up and lawn dart its way into your cranium.
But thats just my opinion. BTW, wouldnt not being able to bust a nut make you a porn star in bed? unless you're not able to get it up either.
