I just use a sickle and I wear my usual black snuggie with the hood since its just before bed. Its quiet and I get a great work out. My elderly neighbors always comment on how spectacular my lawn looks.

Y'all are effing nuts. I hate mowing, clipping, cutting, weedeating, mulching, etc. Scissors would not be used on my yard. Now my garage, game room, and cars are spotless!

Good things rarely happen as a result of arguing with police officers. You also have a legal right to shut up and not incriminate yourself, most people are too stupid to do that though.

It's sad that there has to be an ordinance about when you can and can't make noise. People should show some common courtesy to their neighbors, who would ever think it's reasonable to mow a lawn at 4:30 in the morning? I feel bad mowing at 9am sometimes.

The thing is though not everyone has that 9-5 job Monday thur Friday. U have to do what u can when u can. I nave worked on the bike and car at 4 in the morning but I also try not to do anything that requires starting them. Little things here and there. But 430 mowing is a little early. That is usually when I am getting home and in bed

It wasn't the size of the house that was the solid barg, it's that he actually pays someone to do stuff that's easy to do. I guess to some people a little time is worth more than the money.
