Going to Vegas for first time next month, any recommendations

So planning on taking a trip at the end of October to Vegas, and wanted to get some ideas and recommendations on where to stay and what to do. I'm not big on the gambling, but would like to catch some shows and see the sights.

If anyone knows any good package deals that would include airfare and hotel, or who to book with, that would be appreciated too.

If you want to see some hot women hit up the pool parties (if they have them in oct). I went in June and went to Liquid at Aria and Wet Republic at MGM, holy crap I've never seen so many fine women in life. We stayed at Aria and got the package through Southwest, very sweet hotel to stay at. If you've got the funds do bottle service at the clubs, get a bottle of Goose it's like fishing with dynamite.:wink1:

Even if you're not big on gambling, give craps a try. Best game in the casino in my opinion. Get a book or look online to learn the rules fitst though, it'll save you from losing your shirt.

We're going the last week of September for a friends "BIG" B-day party (everything is covered!). If you can, hit the Palms and go to Garduno's margarita brunch. 11:00-3:00. Damn good breakfast (omelets, waffles, etc) then stay for mexican food (or mix them if you like). All the 'rita's you can drink, and that's no shit. They'll keep bringing pitchers with smiles on their faces the whole time.

I pretty much suck at everything but Blackjack, but craps is a lot of fun and there's always action. If I stick to the "Pass" line, I don't get killed.:wink1:

Go to Ellis Island behind Bally's. Steak, baked potato, green beans, salad and a microbrew beer for $6.99. They have a damn good breakfast, too. Cheap!

Eat at Hash hash a go-go inside Imperial Palace. Try the stuffed meatloaf or anything else they have. AH-MAZE-ING! It is very modern and has a very eclectic menu. Presentation is awesome, too. I picked up several gift certificates to there and other places from www.restaurant.com for $2 before I went so we saved a bunch in dining expenses.

The more you get ahead of time (show tickets, restaurant coupons, etc), the less you'll spend.

I'm getting in Saturday morning (24th?) and staying at Paris. That's also the last day for Barrett-Jackson, and I've already told the old lady (and I do mean "old" LOL!) that I'm headed there for a while that day. I've always wanted to go to Scottsdale to see it, but never got a chance...until now.

I love Vegas. I used to go every couple months with a skydiving bud of mine whose cousins used to run/own the Palms.
