I'm a manger for the Chilis in Mineral Wells and we have catered their meals today... They said at 630 when they left with their dinner that is was still 0 percent contained and they were in for a long ride... Constant 16mph winds with 35mph gusts combined with the rough terrain and horrible climate means it's going to get a lot uglier before it gets better... They have hot shot crews headed in from Louisianna, Alabama, Idaho, and California along with Blackhawks and I believe he said a few c130s from Abilene... They are preparing for a fire as big or bigger than the last PK complex fire...

Yesterday the forecast had mid 90's and 30% chance of rain.

not saying it is or it isn't, but I was told that glass bottles and lightning cause more fires than cigs. but if it was a cig again, that's fucked up.
