I often think about how much cooler driving is than flying.. and then I get 10 hours into my drive and am hating myself.

Yeah, right.. I know by the time I hit vegas (the halfway point) i'll be bitching and moaning and wondering why i didn't toss the truck on the hauler with the mustang.. but i'm hard headed, and get paid like 56¢ per mile for the commute.

Indeed.... I check my frequent member accounts (AA, Marriott, Hertz) about as often as Al P checks his portfolios.

            Sad, really...

You're not alone. I just called AA on why my miles had not posted from my Napa trip this weekend. Hertz updated like a boss though.

AA has been pretty good/quick in my experience... I've only had to call once and it was because I wanted my stickers to post for my next flight for upg.

I have found that Hertz updates points about a week after the fact.

Just head South from Nashville until you hit I-20. I blew both the front tires off the Neon on the way back from PA about an hour out of West Memphis. Take I-55 South from Memphis, and I-20 the whole rest of the way.
Just checked google maps on this route. It's an extra 170 miles!!! I think I'll take my chances with the roads. Especially since I'll be trying to limp a hurt diesel home!

LaserSVT. Do a search on his screen name.

He bought a shitbox car, blew the engine up, gave Kyle a sob story about being broke, blah blah blah. Kyle sold his parts car for what he had in it, or took a loss, don't remember. Then fixed the car with the blown up engine, sold it, made money on it, and bragged about it on here.
