  • How do you finance a 10 year old vehicle?

a buddy of mine found a 2002 jeep wrangler with 30k miles for $12,000 but his bank would only loan 8,900 on a vehicle that old.

    any ideas?

Most cu's will loan 100% of retail, if its above retail why buy it in the first place. Jeeps are a dime a dozen. Keep shopping

Save money. Not being a a-hole either but on older rides like that, your going to either have to save money or find a badass deal that a bank can work with.

12k seems steep for a 10 year old Jeep.

There is a 95 in my town for sale for 6k and I don't understand how it can be for sale at that price.

if you have to finance 100% of something, that something is not for you.
