It's one of my qualifiers for a good bar. They need to carry Guinness and Jameson and have a at least a couple of taps along with a few decent craft beers in bottles. If all they have is Budweiser, Coors, Patron, Jaeger and well liquor then it's probably full of douche bags and I don't want to be there.

as stated. what's your drink of choice. not that expensive drink you have every now and then or on special occasions. The drink you have at home or if you went to a bar, what would you normally order.

lately it's been amaretto on the rocks for me. It used to be crown and coke, but since i gave up soda, i gave that up too.

oh, and FWIW, "that expensive drink" is the only one worth having IMO. If I have to drink swill or nothing, I'll drink nothing.

I don't drink in public. I only drink at home when i have nowhere to go. I have a CHL to worry about. And in my mind, i'd rather carry than drink.

as far as the amaretto, i absolutely despise the taste of alcohol, so it's gotta be something that tastes good. Like i said, i used to drink crown and coke, but i had to give that up.

if it were up to me, i'd drink red bull and vodka, but i can't stay up until 5 every night. lol.

I'm glad redbull and vodka is getting some love now that I mentioned it. When I don't want to spend yhe the $10 on two cans of redbull, I do vodka tonics.

Switch to a vodka press. Half soda, half sprite. For me, vodka soda is too bitter. Vodka sprite is too sweet to drink all night. A press is the perfect mix, IMO.


To expand on my earlier post - I drink monopolowa at home, because it's cheap as shit. At the bar - Stoli, Ketel One, or Goose. I can't stand vodka that tastes like rubbing alcohol. So no Smirnoff, Skyy, etc.
