Damn you for making me remember that with our Corgi earlier this year. It's the least we can do as owners though, be there, pet them and look them in the eyes. Sure is hard though. (My wife, a vet assistant (female), the Vet (female) and I whined the hardest)
My dad, who I've never seen cry, shed a tear that day.
