i just started wearing a fitted in the last 6-8 months...a friend of mine has his own embroidery machine and he gets hats at cost so i usually change em up every now and then or when they get dirty

i wear it forward with the bill ever so slightly curved. not flat billed like the br0s but not curved to where the sides touch like the country boys lol

I typically keep my hats for years or until they just fall apart. I hate buying new hats because they never fit right until they've been worn a few times and ran through the wash.

Lately my ball cap has taken some abuse and seems to be getting pretty nasty. Even after washing it still looks dirty. I love my hat and will throw it on just about any time I'm going outside or running a few errands. Even makes a trip with me to the bar every now and then.

It also makes for a convenient storage location for wallet, keys, phone, and spare change so it's always out on the counter.

Do you guys have a love affair with your ball cap like I do? I hate to get rid of it but I'm afraid if I don't soon it will grow legs and walk out on its own.

I have a few caps I will wear on occasion, usually backwards, and the bill is bent. I may wear a cap once or twice a week, but no more than that. All my caps are sports teams (Mavs, Rangers, Dolphins, etc.) I usually keep my caps for a long time since i dont wear them often.

80% of the time that I am out in public, I have a hat on. I have found that it's best to buy dark colored hats as white ones are easily stained by my head sweat. I usually wear a hat to death, until it has holes all in it.

I've had my alpinestar hat for 10 years and my element hat for 8. I wear them every day. I dont wear sports related hats cuz I'm a band wagoner(sp) and I ain't buyin that many hats

Only hat I ever wear is my fishing hat while I'm fishing, and even then, only about 25% of the time do I wear it while fishing. Oh, and occasionally I'll throw on a beanie when it's super cold.

Hats give me headaches. I also have a hard time finding them in 8 and 3/8s. The non-fitted kind, I can't even touch the plastic bands, much less snap them together.

I'm 50/50 on whether I'm wearing a hat when not at work... normally when I'm too lazy to comb my hair.

As far as the hat getting dirty, I wear them until I feel it's time to get a new one( about a year or so). The only hat I've cleaned in the last 15 years is a white D'backs hat that I bought at Chase field when I went to Phoenix for spring training. White baseball caps are a big mistake - that thing got dingy as hell from sweat and dirty hands. A month ago I put it in a bucket water and Oxi-clean and that shit worked some wonders on it. It's not as bright as it was when new, but it doesn't look like I pulled it out the bottom of a dirty ass lake.
