Ball cap etiquette

I typically keep my hats for years or until they just fall apart. I hate buying new hats because they never fit right until they've been worn a few times and ran through the wash.

Lately my ball cap has taken some abuse and seems to be getting pretty nasty. Even after washing it still looks dirty. I love my hat and will throw it on just about any time I'm going outside or running a few errands. Even makes a trip with me to the bar every now and then.

It also makes for a convenient storage location for wallet, keys, phone, and spare change so it's always out on the counter.

Do you guys have a love affair with your ball cap like I do? I hate to get rid of it but I'm afraid if I don't soon it will grow legs and walk out on its own.

If I'm not working, chances are, if I'm going anywhere out in public, I'll be wearing a backwards cap.

I wear a hat everywhere. I do take it off when I'm eating at a restaurant or if I'm meeting with someone who I'm not casual with regardless of the location.

I wear them until they are completely wore out. I like hats and will buy a new one from time to time but I always end up wearing my favorite wore out hat.

I also wear a hat all the time. I have a couple that i choose from and wear them until they are completly worn out.

I always wear a cap when I am not working. And in accordance with the hat, I wear a shirt of the team the cap is of. Who wears a mavs shirt with a rangers hat?

I also much prefer fitted hats although my favorite is just a velcro Rangers hat at the moment.

Yep...if I'm not working I always wear a ball cap! My old one is about 4 years old..

I wear a hat everyday and for the last 6 or 7 years it has been a Rangers hat made by The Franchise, in my opinion they make the best fitted hat. I think I'm on my 3rd one, wore the first one till it completely fell apart. I've got a big ass head and can't stand those stretch fit hats.

Same as most above, I wear a cap until they fall apart, then I put them up on the hat rack. Lately I have been sticking to booney caps though to keep the sun off my ears. I have wore one out just this summer.

I don't wear one everyday, but will few times a week. I have a few of them, but do have that favorite one. I had 1 for 4 years when I lost it at lake after a wipe out on the jetski. One I have now is going on about 4 1/2 yrs with a small rip on the lid. Wife will clean it a few times a year in the dishwasher. She wanted to throw it in the washer, which that shit isn't happening.
