I took the advice of a friend and tried this place out for lunch today. Its family owned and operated. The staff was really friendly and everything clean. I had the chicken fried steak with red beans/rice along with a salad and sweet tea. They had some real southern sides like collard greens, corn pudding, purple-hull peas, cabbage and other sides you don't see anywhere else.
Its right across from Catfish Cove between Town East & Barnes Bridge on Belt Line.
I don't know the people or have any commercial interest, but I don't hesitate to support a small business who's doing it right these days. They need all the help they can get.
