    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for

    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man

like somebody else said, we will never change without a cataclysmic event. That being said, it has been proven that no form of government works. Everything's been done, and nobody's ever happy. The problem is POWER, and conflict of interest. Even if you had an "utopian" society where everything was free (which, really amounts to nothing other then what you can make by hand using primitive tools) and free food, etc etc. You would still get sects or groups of people who thought that things should be done a certain way to benefit their ideologies, or political stance. Look at the most basic form of a government, a family. The father and mother are the politicians who rule absolutely (hopefully lol) and their peons are their children. The children do whatever the parents say for the most part, always testing the boundaries of what they can and cannot do. Once they reach their teens, they're ready to escape those limitations, EVEN THOUGH the kids dont have to pay for anything, and everything is done in their best interests. They start to rebel, thinking they can run their lives better, and the battles continue until they turn 18 and get cut loose. Some people want that strict regimented life where they're told how to do, when to do, where to do, and what to do to live their lives. Others dont want to be told a damn thing about any of that crap, and just want to live life without structure or rules. That's why I dont hold any merit to any of this revolution/utopia BULLSHIT. people are never going to be happy, regardless of government or status if they are not happy with themselves as an individual.

Furthermore, no matter what grandiose idea you come up with for a government, you will never escape POWER. Power comes in many forms, be it land, resources, religion, or military might. You will always get that person who realizes that if they control one or better yet, all of those things, they will control the landscape. Once that happens, that perfect government of yours is nothing but a puppet show while the person truly in control laughs behind the curtains.

We, as a nation, have never been so divided since the Civil War, as we are now. Look how that turned out. Panic is happening on all sides of our social spectrum, it's just not being broadcasted as such to mask fear and weakness.

One of the worst fears everyone has is mass social unrest and civil disobedience. One of the groups most fearful of this is our government. If they lose control (or the pretense that they actually do have control), then they have a bigger problem than anyone else. Have you ever noticed how large government grows, the worse our social-economical situations get? They have to jump the gun and grow their forces AND increase society's dependence on them AND THEN bring about a level of chaos that divides the people up, while looking to the government for answers. This is the only way that so few can control so many. Order out of chaos.

Now look at what we have today. We have newly developing political parties, strong lobbies, influential organizations that use government to divide races and religion, stronger unions than ever and the largest welfare mouth that America has seen in a long time. As long as you keep everyone divided on babyshit like gay marriages, the government won't have to worry about a collective effort to confront them over their growing regluatory society they are building and the biggest wealth transfer in the history of the world.

Do you think all these riots on these bullshit counties are just happening randomly? Our government has hand-picked several countries on the brink that hold "US interests" to do some dry runs and see where they go from there, all while gaining those countries' resources as an added bonus. You don't actually think that Egyptians just all got together on Facebook and Twitter one day and form a collective movement against their dictatorship, do you? Our CIA embeds agents (both American and local) into stress-induced nations and lights the fire under their asses. This also justifies us to play "World Police" while allowing us to finance our military industrial complex, only to forgive the nation of their debt as long as we can place our puppets in control of the "new democratic government" that we helped them build. Think of these as long-term investments and practice drills for something to happen in the US.

I know that most of you think I'm batshit crazy, but I'll go ahead and keep posting until I'm shut up like other people I know. There has been more and more people moving abroad that have woken to these facts. Our complacency is most of our biggest problems.

This "anonymous" sham is nothing but the fire to be lit. We're not together, we're not organized and we're VERY dependent. You do the math, I'm coming home and getting me and mine ready. My advantage: my family and I can go on about our daily lives and flip a toggle switch that will ready us for just about anything. This has been my project and investment for a while now.

Do I think it will happen soon? Fuck if I know. I do know that we are being put through stress tests to gauge us on our "brink" as other nations have been. I know they better do it before more wake up to these facts or it will just be harder for them. I think we are a few, if not less, major catastrophes away from a total turn-over of some sort. I'm not looking at time for a countdown, rather an event that triggers it.

I believe the spark that lights the fire will come from the undeniable proof that intelligent life does exist beyond our solar system and the realization that governments formed or based on a religion no longer have any substance.

A society that has been indoctrinated with the belief that we are the "only ones" is doomed from the beginning. The idea that we are special in this vast universe is horribly naive and downright selfish.

Once people can accept that we are not unique maybe then can your society begin to take shape tailsman. But then again you still have to deal with that pesky problem that humans, by nature, are greedy.

It's only that bad if you make it out to be that bad. Over all, I'm happy and feel secure, and the same goes for my family and close friends. Bad things happen, whether you worry about them or not. I choose to have a positive outlook on life and to see the good things around me. I'll leave the worry and negativity to you guys. Good luck with all that!

All laws are based on morality, your morality is based on your beliefs, your beliefs are based on religion. Every government is by extension a form of religion. How can you have a government that's not based on religion when your religion dictates how you govern?

People as a whole don't need anything other than food, shelter and water to survive. Anything beyond that is a product of your morals and how humans have been socially engineered as a species to take care of one another. If you take away all governments people will organize their own food supplies and security teams to protect one another from other groups, which is another form of government, again based on your moral beliefs.

No system is ever going to be perfect, people are always going to suffer while others prosper. The best governments should give everyone an equal shot at success and won't punish those who do better than others, while punishing the ones that act against common morals. Our current government punishes anyone that actually produces or makes money through taxes and hands it off to the poor that can't survive on their own. Take morals out of the equation and the poor would starve to death, the others wouldn't care and everyone left as a whole would be better off since they only need to worry about themselves.

Historically great nations that survived for hundreds of years have always taken advantage of the lower classes by forcing them into the military or basically enslaving them as servants and field workers. In America though we allow the lower classes to take advantage of the upper classes through social programs.

Whose better off; the people that have survived for generations without ever paying any taxes and rarely having to work or the people that go to work every day, bust their asses and don't have a penny left after paying taxes, mortgages and car payments?

In regards to intelligent life. I have always been facinated with the idea and find humor in folks that are so narrow minded, they can't consider any possibilities outside of their believes. A fun fact is there are over 400 billion GALAXIES in the part of the universe that is visble to us. Each of these galaxies containing billions of stars themselves. it is more probable that we are not alone. I have strong believes on the subject that I don't bother pushing on others or attempt to convince anyone on. Last night I was watching something on youtube that was a collection of audio and video from "nasa" showing ufo after ufo. I realize the internet is full of bullshit so I take it with a grain of salt but it really was facinating and worth checking out.

There are no Scriptural references that I know of in the Old or New Testaments that discount the existence of intelligent life outside our own world. Actually, some people might reasonably question the existence of intelligent life in our own world, LOL.

Why have government anymore? It is obvious to me that the idea of government controlling and policing the population just doesn't work. The government institution creates nothing but animosity towards the people in power and the classes it creates due to taxation.

Why not be a true free market, where everything is owned by someone or some company. Roads, electricity, gas, whatever you can think of, can be owned by companies and we would pay as we do today. The government interfers with this type of business all the time, but maybe they need to police themselves. Each sector would have their own council responsible for making sure each companies business practices are fair and has the power to disolve a company if it does not conform. If two companies want to merge, the council has to approve.

Obviously you have to find out how to pay for law enforcement, and you would still have to have some type of judicial system.

But beyond all that, everyone can do what they choose to do. We pretty much already do anyways, except the goverment always has their greedy hands in the whole damn mess.

It's been my experience the vast majority of people practicing a monotheism religion do not believe in ET. Even though there are multiple occasions in the Bible and other religious text referring to it.

You have just proven my next point. We are species biased. The op's idea of a utopian society may be completely possible and fully functioning at this very moment on another world or in another dimension. That species may have the genetics to make it all work. We do not.
