By looking into his background and the way he talks with his blatant disrespect for common courtesy and general behavior in society, you can tell this kid has had a rough life. It started with his abusive father and fueled by his mother's death. Now with chip on his shoulder he continues to lash out for his anger for all of it. His self appointed victim status stems from his loss of his mother and abuse of his father which is now why he takes blame for nothing or accepts responsibility for anything. In order to deal, he self medicates with drugs and alchohol. Simple puzzle to figure out really.

Btw-I've met the kid and he's cool. I actually remember him offering to pay up and Brent saying, it's cool, we'll get it handled at some point (or something similar). But he got his ass whipped in the girlfriend thread, then everyone's made it a point to gang up on him. I really feel bad for him and the lashing he's received.
