Very lucky be safe out there i was like you always managed to miss debris until that time. crazy thing is behind me there was a dart bus that slammed on his brakes and they are equipped with a camera system that comes on as soon as they slam on their brakes. driver said he caught the whole thing on tape.
i tried to get the tape from dart so i could show the city the damn mess they have on their roadways and how dangerous it could be, but dart did not want to get involved.

I was on Hwy 80 the other day and watched as a F450 pancaked one end of an aluminum ladder and the car behind him get a good excuse for new tires. I feel bad that I didn't stop and pull it out of the way, I'm sure it wasn't done handing out damage..

I saw a ladder laying on the service road on 360 by ballpark way. I turned around and picked it up off the street so it wouldnt cause any crashes. It was almost brand new

A guy in the fast lane on 183 lost his ladder while I was about 2 cars behind him in the next lane. Luckily I missed it and it slid into the shoulder without hitting any one. The guy just kept driving...

If someone picks one up it may be mine. I found it on 45 on the way to Huntsville from Dallas. Then a work crew at my old apartments STOLE it! Bastards.

I was traveling down 30 one day and a couch fell right out of a guys truck(Ford Ranger). Lucky for him, a state trooper was behind him and caught him & part of the couch.

                          Ladders

I think there are a bunch of folks that can't tie down a ladder or a mattress.
Bunch of dumbasses i guess, never ran over anybody elses shit and tore up there own.

I got a nice 8' A-frame ladder that way. Found it on the tollway.

I hit one back in the 80s going under an interchange. It was at night and on a curve. Nowhere to go, but did not do much damage to the 87 escort. Could have easily been deadly on a bike. I have seen several others, but I used to drive alot.

                                Ladders?

Ladders?...hell...my wife creamed a big ol' blue wheelbarrow in the middle of I-20 in South Arlington a couple of years ago. Talk about scary. Took out the front bumper and passenger side rocker panel of her Camry. We also found a huge cut in the passenger front tire. She's lucky she didn't wreck out and kill herself.

Also, how about all those huge retreads I'm seeing in the middle of the highways and byways due to the heat these days? They can seriously ruin your day.
