God Bless Texas. Break out the posse!

Officers investigate after a police chase in southeast Fort Worth ends with one man being shot and killed near Big Fork Road in the Lake Arlington Ranch mobile home park, Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Officers from the mounted patrol were also looking for a woman who police said left the vehicle during the chase.

I guess it is my own fault for not making him meet me at a range, but with the other 25 or so firearms I have purchased in the past 6 years, I have never had this issue. Bought a Taurus PT-111 for a cheap pocket/console gun. Found it on TGT for $220. Buyer assured me it worked, even after I specificallly mentioned FTF or

I don't think you know this guy.

He hired on in May of 1981. This is the second officer involved shooting he's been in 2 years.

Does "officer involved shooting" cover both instances where the officer is shooting and where the officer is shot at, or only when the officer is shooting?

                          When officer discharges a firearm.

He was shot at on a domestic and somehow the guy missed. The officer didn't miss, but the bad guy lived. There were 2 officers there that day, and luckily neither was hit. The guy got 50 years mandatory for 2 counts of Criminal Attempt Capital Murder.

Is this common knowledge that it's his second involvement in something like this in 2 years?
