keep her out of their reach as much as possible. Even if it does mean you have to pay $250-300 a month for daycare. They will brainwash, that is a damn guarantee.

I worked with a Jehovah witness once. He really wasn't a bad guy and pretty much kept his religious beliefs on the downlow unless he wanted to make a joke about it or explain how they dealt with dating women. The religious side never came up.

I used to laugh my ass off when he called himself a jaydub.

Right... cross breeding never works as well as it looks on paper.

I would start off with the words, "you lied to me" and ask her what else she has been lying about. Tell her how you no longer trust her and you are now questioning whether or not your child should be left unsupervised with her.

That will scare the shit out of her.

Tell them you are going to convert her to Scientology. When they say it is bullshit made up by L Ron Hubbard, point out their crap about birthdays and the pledge of allegiance is no different.

This. If she doesn't back off, I'd do as Leah suggested and get after school care.

Anyone who's met a Jehovah's witnesses will know that proselytizing people is their MO. Especially, an impressionable child. I personally would sit down and have a long talk with Grandma about this situation. As in back the fuck off. My 2 cents..

I find out my daughters first day of school in kindergarten that she did not and was the only one that didn't say the pledge of allegiance because her (goga) grandma told her not to. I'm at a loss. If you haven't guessed they are Jehovah's witnesses. My only thought is for a 5 year old child to not only know what the Pledge was but to adamantly not say it tells me that they have been fully indoctrinating her to the full extent of their religion. The thing that gets me is that I know that grandma thinks it is ok to lie in this situation as i'm sure in her mind I am lost and she needs to tell her grandchild "The Truth". Has anyone else on this board experienced this before?
They pick her up from school daily until me or the ex picks her up after work. I don't want to keep her from them, but I don't want her to become confused and think that she's not going to be in "paradise" if she doesn't comply to what they have to say. This just seems like brainwashing to me.
Get extended day or after school care and get her the hell out of that environment stat.
