LOL. She was already "shunned" when I met her.
Easier said than done. They have been there through the birth. And with my divorce from the ex. I feel like I would be stabbing them in the back. I think I will just have to just take some time on this one.Token Split Tail

In the world today, I really don't think anyone is doing their kid any favors trying to indoctrinate them into believing this is some great land of the free with a pledge. Teach them history, and let them decide for themselves who to pledge their allegiance to. Of course anything out of the mouth of a JW is bullshit as well, I'm just sayin'. Don't get me started on those assholes.

Your situation has nothing to do with any communications with her teacher. This is between you, mommy, and mommys crazy parents.
As far as stabbing them in the back is concerned... if they're truly "there" for YOU... they'd respect your wishes. Everytime they lie to you, and undermine your wish as a parent, they're stabbing you in the back. Just food for thought.
If you don't like what is happening. It's time to take a stand and do what YOU feel is right. Religion is a HUGE issue that you must address how YOU see fit. If you don't want your daughter to think and feel the way her grandparents do....then you need to further limit how much time they have with her.Originally posted by VertnutI'd run my junk through a waffle iron, if it makes you more "comfortable". my daughter just started KG, and i want her to be as mainstream, follow the "norm" as possible, kids shouldn't be exposed to civil disobedience (i know you're not saying that) and esp. not that JW crap at 5 years old, or for as long as it can be avoided - ignorance is bliss, and when we were all kids, we were a lot happier and less jaded because we didn't know any better, and times were good -
