DFW Detectives! Need plate info pls

Pulling in to my neighborhood tonight, I see a kid sprinting for a taurus, parked left wheel to the curb- that caught my attention. I skip the turn on to my street & continue towards the action. I saw a neighbor/gearhead coming around the corner just after the kid has hopped in the car, and everybody's in a rush.

The taurus busts away from the curb, driving away in a hurry. I head that way. I take a few turns, and see him ahead of me. I floor the tahoe, and he was doing the same. I caught up to him at the stop sign, long enough to get the plate.

Make it back to the neighbor's, where I learn that he'd heard glass breaking at the house behind his, and the kid hopped the fence & ran through a short trail to the Taurus.

Just want to know where this douche lives. Recently, all the cars on the street were getting robbed whenever they were left unlocked. I busted a kid stealing a bike out of my neighbor's garage across the street, tracked him (he was too wasted to ride a bike), got him hemmed up in a cruiser for a date w/ the jailer. He lived down the road, & I contacted the landlord for renting to a dirt bag. The petty crimed stopped when that guy was locked up.

The neighbor who'd heard the glass breaking & chased them off gave me the report #.

I took the info given, looked up the property in the tax records to find the owner, and it was held in a self-directed IRA account through a custodian. They have a tin ear for complaints about their client's tenants.

Because I knew from the self-directed IRA that it was an investment property, and a rental, I looked it up in the MLS to find out the last time it sold/leased- no data.

I drove by the house, and the landlord had a sign in the front yard saying "I buy houses cash", so I called him up & told him what had happened. The kid living there was probably the driver, and hopefully the police will bust his nuts good. Either way, he was part of the crime, and b/c it wasn't a crime of opportunity, more planned than that, they will pursue the organized criminal activity angle, since burgularies aren't uncommon in my area.
