buyer sends seller a brick and provides a tracking number for said shipment and gets their money back... FROM THE SELLER. ebay takes the money from the seller.

seller receives brick and gets fucked.

it's shady bullshit, and it's the reason I only buy on ebay
Had it happen twice. Had a buyer win a receiver, said it wasn't as I represented it (it was better than represented) he filed on me. got $873 dollars from me. 1 year later I was still trying to get my fucking receiver back, I finally get ahold of someone at PayPal and they tell me they are holding it as evidence, and then they show me their policy which says they can keep and sell it. So, I paid a guy $837 to take a $837 receiver, total experience w/ ebay = $1,674.

it's bullshit... I didn't sell anything on there for years. I think I sold one thing and when I realized they ate like 15% of the transaction, that's when i went to only selling on CL and forums.

I will list VEHICLES on ebay for the exposure, but the vehicle selling rules are way different also.

I bought an ARP stud kit from some jackass on Ebay last year....when it arrived I discovered that there was something like 12 pieces missing...a couple of the short studs, several nuts, and some of the washers (it was a head stud kit that had been advertised as new in the box). At first the guy was cool and just had me send it back COD and said he'd send me another new kit....however, when the next one arrived it was missing even more shit than the first one!! Once I contacted the guy that time he was a total dick and accused me of trying to get over on him......I asked him a real simple question, why the fuck would you not have checked this kit before sending it as a replacement to the first one that was incomplete??? He claimed he was just too busy, and went on to basically tell me to go fuck myself....he wasn't going to make it right.

I opened a case with Ebay and those pricks did nothing for me either....they said since it was a multi-part item that I had no way I could prove that it was indeed incomplete when it arrived. Fucking assholes....I made sure the guy I was speaking with was aware just how much I bought and sold on Ebay, and then informed him thaqt I'd NEVER do business with them again....and I haven't! Fuck Ebay...that place is a shithole!

As for the headstuds...I called ARP and ordered the individual pieces I needed to make it a complete kit...ended up costing me way more than if I had gone to Summit or Jegs and just ordered it there to start with.

...then I went out in my backyard and picked up all the fresh dogshit and stuffed it into the ARP box...taped it up, and shipped it back to that jackass....on my dime. Never heard from him again, but I like to think that he opened the box and had some fall out onto him....or at least got some on his hands. Arrow had just laid some fresh nasty assed turds too.

lol.. i had a totally different definition of bricking in mind.

                Bricked

The past tense of the verb to cum

Hell, I'll ask anything. I don't care what people think of me from asking. I tried to google it first and it just gave off some definition about impeding another persons work.

That brings up another good question though... who are people so afraid to ask questions about things they aren't familiar with?

Definitely doesn't seem like a 'cooter' thing to do... I'll bet it's tempting though!!!
