I've had good luck lately.

I purchased a locked tuner and emailed the guy selling it. He said it didn't have a clue about it, asked if it could be unlocked, and I told him it could be for $100. I paid $125 for it. He sent me $100.

I purchased a lift kit for an ATV that was supposed be a simple 30 minute install. After about 2 hours worth of grinding and hammering, it finally fit. I email the seller asking him what happened. He gave me full refund including shipping in exchange for positive feedback. He offered...I never asked.

I'm assuming that this a programmer for a truck. Fuck that guy. Technically the thing doesn't function because he thought he would be sly and leave the program on his truck. What a dickhead.

That is one thing I hate about paypal. Can really fuck someones finances up depending on how much the claim is for.

I had guy put in a claim against me and fucking Paypal took $600 out of my checking account instead of the paypal balance of $600 that the guy sent me. ASSHOLES

I bought something pretty damn cheap. It was misrepresented. I told the guy how much it was going to cost to get it up to the condition he stated it was in.

He was like "ok, send it back and I'll refund you minus $10 for shipping"

I told him that I felt that he should not only give me a full refund, but also pay for return shipping as he misrepresented the item.

He then told me it was insured and that I should contact the USPS! LOL I told him only the shipper could do that. He simply said "well send it back then"

So I opened a case on him.

Honestly, if the guy would have just been cool and been like "man, I'm really sorry, I'll give you a full refund, how can we make this right?" I would have just said fuck it, left him positive feedback and fixed the item at my cost. But the guy wants to be an asshole and insult my integrity and intelligence. So fuck him, he's got a case opened now.

He still insists that the item wasn't misrepresented and to ship it back and once he inspects it, he'll give me a refund. uhh... I don't think you quite understand how this works, buddy. This isn't Ebay circa 2001! LOL

I'm going to leave the case open for 30 days if he wants to be an asshole, but I seriously thought for a moment about bricking him! LOL But I can't do that. Two wrongs don't make a right.

it's a shit-bag maneuver that takes advantage of ebay's buyer protection policy.

buyer opens a case and makes a claim. ebay says we'll refund your money if you ship it back. you must provide tracking information.

buyer sends seller a brick and provides a tracking number for said shipment and gets their money back... FROM THE SELLER. ebay takes the money from the seller.

seller receives brick and gets fucked.

it's shady bullshit, and it's the reason I only buy on ebay
