Sorry to hear about that man. I lost a good friend to drunk driving 10 years ago. He was the passenger and his driver was drunk. Its sad because I never got to say goodbye. I was away at college. We had our rough patches, but closer to his death and before I went away to school we grew closer. I to this day have no sympathy for drunk drivers or DWI/DUI because once it hits close to you, you realize how stupid it is and selfish.

Dr.Dave saves lives for a living and he fought for his country. He might play a hardass online, but the man has a heart even if he doesn't want to admit it. He sees death on a regular basis and has for a long time, anyone of would be jaded in position as well. That doesn't exuse his comment, but when someone says something like that you have to consider the source. In my opinion, I think Dr.Dave is one of those people you just have to know offline to "get it" and not pay much attention to his online antics.


I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. It's a horrible way to lose someone you love. As everyone knows, I've got a serious problem with people who drink and drive and it's because something just like this.
