I have four sets of friends that live there, they too are blind to their enviroment....

No bullshit, I was leaving a friends house at 11p on Saturday. I pulled into the new gas station with the Taco Casa to get gas. There is an old piece of shit truck with at least 7 young ghetto kids in the bed bouncing and dancing, while another dozen are running around the truck dancing and rapping while they tossed up gang signs, with both doors open and loud ass music blaring. I witnessed two cars pull up and back right out and take off.
The few times I have HAD to go to the Walmart there, same shit. Tried to go to the movies there with friends, just gave up halfway through the movie because of the loud ass ghetto folks yelling at the movie the entire time. Friends kids are in High School there and the stories they tell are insane!

Every town has kids like that. You get that anywhere you go. Hell, we had to leave the movies at the Rockwall theater because of a similar issue. That is everywhere.

I am thinking more of the demographics, housing developments, and other structures and facilities in the town.

I don't recall too many prisons in Forney.

I do agree with terrell, kaufman and Seagoville.

I really have never been through Crandall enough to make a judgement.

I guess I am just bias and don't see Forney in the same light. The town is full of new home developments and new schools. There is literally one trailer park that has maybe 10 trailers out of the whole town.

Windmill Farms is one HUGE trailer park. Majority of the homes are investor owned rentals. Drive through the neighborhood and they have cages around the air conditioning units. Heartland is not far behind.

We are looking at houses in Forney, and we are staying away from Windmill Farms. It sucks, because there are some good size homes that look nice.

Heartland is not part of Forney. Hearltand goes to Crandall schools and I believe it is its own community.

yea but the main problem with those new homes are that they're cheaply built.

Im not talking shit, I live out that way, I know its all shit. If it helps, out of all the cities mentioned, Forney is the nicest

True, there are cheaply built new homes. I happen to be renting one right now, but am looking to buy something nicer.

I know what you guys are saying, I know it isn't a perfect or really upscale town, but it is not a dive town(like I consider Seagoville).

Well the kids from Heartland go to Forney HS, I know that for a fact as one of my buddies girls does.

One of my other buddies lives across from Forney HS and his neighborhood is alright.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that, but there was/is a white flight out of Mesquite, Garland, Balch Springs, and all parts of eastern Dallas suburbs that continues.
